Hey Maybe we should start just a general, random chat where we can talk to each other away from the military roleplay, so you know, we can have some times where we're not pretending to want to kill each other. =D Yaaaaaay.

So I still think what when the Ps3 come down in price next month you should get one, and then get the orange box for 20 bucks and we can play TF2 together. XD Hahaha.

Oh, and have you ever played Civilization? THis whole country thing reminds me of it, actually. XD It's alot of fun. XD

Actually, Civ IV is avaible on the Mac now. This is, It's far more complex and games are far longe rthen Civ Revolution. I've heard session can take up to 12 hours.XD

It sounds fun! I don't know about the PS3 idea, but Civ 4 sounds great. Are there any online aspects? We could play online through that then xD

Yeah but then everyone would have to. ANd you can't exatcly MAKE your own country you're an pre existing country and you basically develop it as you please throguhout time, stomping out other countries and such. Like risk, almost? Really historically inaccurate though. XD I have no idea if you can play it online.


There are alot of good PS3 games though. =D Orange Box, Ghostbusters, LittleBigPlanet, Resident Evil, Uncharted, Fallout 3, Folklore, and alot more, depending on what kinds of games you can play, plus it's backwards compatible and you could play PSYCHONAUTS. Which rocks. xD

I wasn't really talking about everyone here to play out wars, I meant you and me so that your urges to play TF2 online would be dispersed xD

I mean getting a PS3 would be great, considering the games you mentioned and anything like them are almost non-existant on the Wii, but the issue is money. I have money, yes, but there are other things in life that are a little more important than gaming… like post-secondary education (which is coming up after this year, it's scary o___o).

Plus I'm really the only one in my family who actually uses the Wii, so I'll definitely be the only one who uses a PS3. And I don't think that my parent's would be big on footing most of the bill for it in that case D:

YES. If it's online we should defiantly both get it and play online. XD I need an online gaming buddy. Hahahaha. Playing with strangers isn't near as fun as playing with friends.

Aww. I use the PS3 more then the Wii now. There's going to be a newer smaller PS3 coming out this fall with a lower price then the current ones, I dunno if it'll be enough for you want to get it.

That model won't be backwards compatible. However, the PS2 is still on the market for dirt cheap, and Sony is releasing lots of PS1 games on it to Downloads on the PSN.

Other games I'd recommend depend on personal taste. resistance and Killzone 2 are good FPS, but much darker then Tf2, and Resistance has some creative weapons. Ratchet and Clank is made of win. valkyria Chroncles plays a lot like Fire Emblem(You where the guy who plays FE, right). INfamous is a great sandbox Superhero game. Hell, I might have to showcase some of these games next time you come over if you like.XD

Uh about $300 methinks. It doubles as a bluray player, if that matters at all to you. Hahaha. You could always try that angle at your family if you think they'd be interested.

Hahahaha. The bluray excuse used to work really good awhile ago when bluray was REALLY expensive, cause the playstation was the cheapest one out then. Now I''m not sure how much bluray is. XD

I remember them saying they think the whole blu-ray thing was kinda pointless, but if it came together with the PS in one-super-machine, I can see them going for it. xD

Hahaha Yeah that was like us. We bought a bluray to check it out though. XD We bought a actual bluray player too, but that must be broken now or something, cause we always use the playstation now. o_O And the orange box is only like $20 bucks. XD

Hahahaha Yes it is. Portal is alot of fun, it's pretty short though. Tf2 I'm addicted to, and Half Life I've started but haven't really beaten. XD
